Introduction [Biosketch]

Dr. Indira Dey is an Associate Professor of Physics at Gurucharan University, Silchar specializing in Solid State Physics and Astrophysics. She earned her M.Sc from Gauhati University, Guwahati, M.Phil and Ph.D in Physics from Assam University, Silchar and published peer-reviewed articles and Research articles in prestigious journals such as Astronomy and Astrophysics. Currently, she is guiding two research scholars as co-supervisor at Gurucharan University. In addition to research, Dr. Dey is actively involved in teaching, guiding and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
